BEFORE YOU READ

ANY FURTHER…

I want you to know that you could show up to your boudoir shoot with NOTHING, and we would still make magic happen. I have had many women bring just their favorite pair of underwear, while others have shown up with a suitcase full of options. This boudoir session is not about creating an ideal version of yourself, but more so capturing your natural beauty. So whatever you bring, please don’t stress. Simply bring items that reflect your personality and let me take care of the rest.

The most important aspect of your portrait session is the styling of your wardrobe. You need to bring items that fit you well and flatter your shape. This guide will help you determine the best pieces for your photo-shoot goals. You are welcome to browse my Pinterest boards, or email me if you have additional questions. XOXO

HERE IS A QUICK LIST OF LINGERIE STYLES

bodysuits

While bodysuits are technically articles of clothing, bodysuits are my favorite pieces to photograph. They look great on every body type and come in a million styles.

BUSTIERS

This style is flattering on every figure, it slims the mid section but the added breast support is specifically made for women who want to increase the look of their cup size.

TEDDY

While these offer little to no support, they hug a women’s natural curves and are some of my favorite pieces to photograph.

BRA & PANTY

If you want to show off your abs, this style is for you. Avoid push up bras as they can make your chest look unnatural. Also make sure that you are not spilling out of the cups. Be sure to bring something special and not an every day set as it can look dingy and used.

SHAPE-WEAR

Smooth & Shape? YES please. Shape-wear can be a girls best friend especially for those of us with extra curves. The styles can mimic teddies, bodysuits and bustiers, the only difference is they offer the most support and lining in the piece itself.

CLOTHING

Cozy Sweaters, Sheer Dresses, Leather Jackets, Scarves, Fluffy Tulle Skirts, you would be surprised how often clothing can be incorporated into a boudoir shoot. My rule with clothing is simple > If you love it, bring it.

You are welcome to bring your own alcohol but I promise you won’t need the alcohol to relax or ease your nerves.

Absolutely, just notify me ahead of time. They are welcome to stay for the whole experience or they can just drop you off and come back for the reveal.
